Greetings! Welcome to the Municipality of Calumpit, Bulacan!

Calumpit is one of the oldest municipalities of the Province of Bulacan, of the Republic of the Philippines. It is located 54 kilometers north of Manila. It is bounded on the east by the Municipality of Pulilan, Bulacan, on the Southwest portion by the Municipality of Hagonoy, Bulacan, and on the west side by the Municipality of Macabebe, Pampanga.

It was founded in 1539, under the leadership of Gat. Maitim. In that year, there were 1,613 houses made of light materials with the exception of the church, the tribunal, and the prison house.

Calumpit is well-known for the following industries: paper manufacturing; garments; pottery; ceramics; ornamental plants; freshwater lobsters locally called ulang; and longganisang calumpit, a native delicacy that will surely delight your taste buds.
